How to become an user

Any person of the age of 14 and older resident in the Russian Federation or any other country may use the Library’s collections and services.

Please register at the Library main building or any of the Library’s consulting and educational branches in several Moscow administrative districts.

You can also reserve your user card remotely at our www-site

User- e-card with photo is issued free of charge.
If the card was lost, you may order a duplicate at price of 100 rubles.
User cards are for individual use exclusively and must not be passed to any other person.

 

To register, please produce the following documents:

- your passport;
- your photo 3 х 4 cm, or your consent to scan your ID photo.

 

 You can get a one-day pass if providing a personal identification document.

With the one-day pass you get access to the open access collection in the Library’s reading rooms.
