The many faces of nano

 

The exhibition materials reflect the basic ideas and principles of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Particular attention is paid to the application of the achievements of nanotechnology in various fields of industry, modern ideas about the electrical, magnetic, thermal, optical, diffusion, chemical and mechanical properties of nanomaterials are summarized, issues of self-organization and synergetics in the nanoworld are touched upon. The main directions of the development of science about nanostructures and the most important areas of application of nanoproducts, as well as socioeconomic consequences and ethical aspects of the introduction of nanotechnology into the life of modern society are considered.
