Business and chess information department

The RNPLS&T’s business and chess information department combines the business library and library office and provides access to domestic journals in economics, finances and law, commercial publications, address books and yellow pages, serial business directories, along with the reference and legal information databases, like Consultant+ and Garant.
The chess library is a unique collection, like no one Russian library possesses. Its main mission is to provide qualitative chess information to Russian population, including, first of all, schoolchildren, university students, chess pedagogues, etc.
The department organizes the displays of new acquisitions, thematic exhibitions and photo shows, and holds the meetings “Among the chess friends” on various anniversary occasions.
The department collection comprises about 50,000 items of business literature and 8,000 items of chess literature, including rare publications.
Copying and scanning services are offered for the articles in RNPLS&T collection (those beyond Part 4 of the RF Civil Code).

Saturday: 10.00 - 17.00
Closed on Sunday
