The ceremony of the National Award «The Book of the Year-2021»

On September 23, 2021, the award ceremony of the National Award «The Book of the Year-2021» was held at The Other Stage of Sovremennik theatre in Moscow.

Dr. Yakov Shrayberg, Director of Research of the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology, got the special diploma in HUMANITAS nomination as the author of the three-volume book «My Friend Katya Genieva», memoirs of the Great Librarians and Person of Culture.

For this publication, Dr. Yakov Shrayberg also got the special diploma of the RLA 9th All-Russia Competition «The Best Professional Book of the Year-2021» in the nomination «The Book in the Cultural Life of the Society». The results of the competition were announced on September 24, 2021, within the framework of the 34-th Moscow International Book Fair.
