International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM-2021"
From 5 to 8 July 2021, the International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM-2021" is being held in Yekaterinburg. The theme for 2021 is "Flexible Manufacturing".
On July 5, scientific director of the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology, Ya.L. Shraiberg took part in the exhibition and spoke at a special seminar organized by the Ministry of Education of the Sverdlovsk Region, where he co-chaired the event together with the Minister of Education and Youth Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region Yu.I. Biktuganov.
Ya.L. Schraiberg presented the report , in which he spoke about the Federal project "Digital educational environment" and its goals; about school education as part of the digital economy; on the transformation of school libraries into information centers and their new functionality. Ya.L. Schraiberg paid particular attention to the adjustments that the COVID-19 pandemic has made in the work of libraries: school libraries help to educate the skills of health literacy and healthy lifestyles, which is important both for individuals and for society as a whole. The speaker also talked about how the role of the library of a regional university in the scientific and educational process is currently being rethought. Ya.L. Schraiberg emphasized the need to provide the educational and scientific process with modern electronic resources, as well as to train students to work with them.
The INNOPROM International Exhibition is the main industrial, trade and export platform in Russia. Acting as one of the key training grounds of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, INNOPRO ”serves as a platform where the foundations of industrial policy are laid. About 80% of the exhibition visitors are professional buyers from different countries of the world, specialists from industrial enterprises who make decisions on the introduction of new products and technologies in production.
