Exhibition "Fundamentals of Theoretical Electrochemistry"

The exhibition "Fundamentals of Theoretical Electrochemistry" is open in the hall of the 2nd floor of the main building at the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology from June 8 to August 21, 2023. In the publications presented at the exhibition, modern ideas about the essence of electrochemical processes are presented, some problems of mathematical modeling of electrochemical systems are considered. Materials on high-temperature electrochemistry, fundamentals of electrochemistry of organic and inorganic compounds, electrochemistry of molten salts are presented. Some aspects of the theory and properties of electrolytes, phase equilibria, chemical reactions and interphase phenomena, electrochemical thermodynamics and electrode processes in ionic melts, the structure of the double electric layer and electrochemical kinetics are considered.

The exhibition may be of interest to teachers, graduate students and students specializing in electrochemistry.

During the preparation of the exhibition, monographs, textbooks, conference materials, collections of scientific articles, abstracts of dissertations from the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology, the IPR SMART digital educational resource, publications from full-text databases of Springer publishers (Springer eBooks Collections), ACS Web Editions (American Chemical Society (ACS)) and journals of Elsevier publishing house (Elsevier Open Access Journals).
