The exhibition "Networking in Business: Connections Decide Everything!" is open from September 9 to October 7, 2024 in the reading room of the Business Information Office, 3rd floor, room 315.

Networking is a way to build a personal network of contacts - both professional and everyday. The main idea of ​​networking is to create your own unique community. Networking includes meeting new people who can be useful for business or have a positive impact on a person's life.

 In the books and articles presented at the exhibition, you will find information on how to expand your business network and learn to achieve goals through useful contacts: for example, you will learn how and where you can meet the right people, where to start a conversation and how to leave a good impression. The literature provides many examples of how networking works in everyday life, the business community (section 1), or in a specific company or profession (section 2). In section 3 of the exhibition, you can read about how to improve your ability to communicate with different people.

The exhibition is addressed to managers, company executives, aspiring businessmen and anyone who wants to improve their communication skills with others, the ability to convey their thoughts, speak in public and build business connections.

In preparing the exhibition, monographs, educational publications and articles from the collection of the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology, the electronic library systems Znanium, ibooks.ru and "University Library Online", the digital educational resource IPR SMART, the online library of electronic and audio books LitRes: Library were used; Additionally, recommended open access resources on the topic are presented (articles from scientific electronic libraries eLIBRARY.RU and cyberleninka.ru).
