Interlibrary Loan and Electronic Document Delivery

 

Dear Users,

Please be informed that the Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology offers services via International ILL (interlibrary loan) and Document Delivery (DD).

We supply hard copies, electronic copies and microforms for permanent use.

Information about the subjects and types of available documents, as well as service fees is attached.

We would like to see your institution among our customers and look forward to fruitful cooperation.

 

SERVICES

The Russian National Public Library for Science and Technology is the largest and most comprehensive specialized library on natural and applied sciences, engineering, technology, ecology and economics. Its collections contain nearly 8 mln. publications.

The Library holds the following types of literature:
- domestic and foreign books;
- domestic and foreign periodicals.

Monographs, scientific reports and proceedings of international and national congresses, conferences, symposia and scientific societies are of particular value.

 

TERMS OF SERVICE

 

Orders for electronic copies are accepted via e-mail (submitted in the special form of orders of The Library), mail or fax. You must fill out an order form for each order copy.

All the supplied copies are protected by copyright legislation and must be used in educational and research purposes only.

Requested documents will be delivered to customers as hard copies or temporary electronic copies. Regular service time is no more than 10 working days.

Payment is accepted either by IFLA vouchers or by wire transfer.

The Library accepts IFLA vouchers and follows the standard payment terms: one voucher costs 8 euros for a document copy. To facilitate larger calculations we use half voucher which costs 4 euros. The Library adheres to the standard payment terms: one voucher (8 euros) for one issue of the original or a copy volume of up to 20 pages.

When paying by wire transfer, charges for Document Delivery services are as follows:
One document as a hard copy or electronic copy – 10 EUR up to 20 pages; 4 EUR per each 10 additional pages.

If the requested document is not available in we are ready, with the customer’s consent, to find it in the collections of other libraries. The additional price for one document will be 10 EUR.

Customers are to pay invoices within 30 days.

Wire transfer should be made into the Library account using the following details. Bank transfer charges are paid by the customer account.
