How to oder items

 

Users to get the publications from the Library’s main collection in the reading room of catalogs and reference and bibliographic literature (Room 2001) on presentation of the user card. Documents delivery and return is a computer-aided procedure.

Ordered documents that have not been not requested by users within 5 business days (excluding the day of order) will be returned to the depository. Users may prolong the use term in person or by phone: +7(495) 698-93-07; while the total duration of reservation on the reservation shelf shall not exceed 15 business days.
The documents being in use with other customers may be delivered only with the permission of the latter and with the approval of the desk librarian.

The literature shall be returned to the desk no later than 15 minutes before the library is closed. User may work with rare and valuable items only within the order desk zone (the catalog room No. 201).You may order the items in the Library’s E-catalog in advance through our Order online service via RNPLS&T’s www-site and to use them in our reading rooms any business day convenient for you.

Order, deliver and return procedure for the subsidiary collections of RNPLS&T’s reading rooms.

For subsidiary collection, order pickup and delivery of the documents are accomplished of the user card during the reading room opening hours and is ceased no later than 30 minutes before the reading room is closed. Documents delivery and return is a computer-aided procedure. The orders shall be fulfilled within 10-15 minutes.
Please note that you may not reserve items from the subsidiary collections of the specialized reading rooms. In the case of ordering copies, the item shall be returned to the reading rooms the same day. The number of items delivered in the reading rooms shall not be limited if not stated otherwise.

Access to microfilms and microfiches is provided in the reading room of catalogs and reference and bibliographic literature (Room 201).

Desk librarians consult the users on the collections, catalogs, and services. Users may choose publications independently in the open access reading rooms.
