Reliability of complex systems
The publications presented at the exhibition address current issues related to the reliability of machines and complex systems. Theoretical and practical issues of reliability of complex systems at various stages of their life cycle are presented. The methods of ensuring and improving reliability at the stages of design, serial production and operation are given. Information is presented on the physical processes of malfunction of objects, mathematical methods of reliability calculations, measures aimed at improving the reliability and survivability of systems. The contribution of domestic scientists to the development of a promising scientific direction – forecasting the reliability of machines and mechanisms is noted, examples of successful solutions to problems of increasing the resource of technical facilities in various industries and production are given.
The exhibition is held as part of the All-Russian Science Festival "Science 0+". During the preparation of the exhibition, publications from the fund of the State Scientific Library of Russia were used: monographs, collections of scientific papers, textbooks and manuals, conference materials, articles from specialized journals, as well as publications from electronic library systems "BOOK.RU ", "Doe", "ZNANIUM.COM " "ibooks.ru ", digital educational resource "IPR SMART", scientific electronic library "eLIBRARY.RU ".

Abstract: The basic concepts in the field of safety and reliability of technical systems and their most important indicators are given. The methods of ensuring the safety and reliability of products at various stages of their life cycle are systematized: during development, production and operation. The main attention is paid to the methods of qualitative analysis and preventive methods of dealing with failures. A significant place is occupied by the systematic presentation of the modern theory of probabilistic and statistical analysis of the safety of complex technical products. The methodology of "acceptable risk" has been adopted as the basic concept. The application of probabilistic security analysis methods is illustrated by a large number of examples. It can be used in the educational process in a wide range of areas (specialties) of engineering and technology, especially in the training of personnel specializing in testing, design and operation of complex technical systems. It is of interest to scientists and specialists in the field of aviation, rocket science and space.

However, despite the special selection of examples, engineers working in other branches of technology can also use these materials. The book consists of ten chapters and an appendix. Each of the chapters is devoted to the study of a specific issue related to the methods of ensuring and improving the reliability of a complex technical system. The application consists of tables and nomograms designed for practical calculations of reliability and determination of test volumes.

The principles of programming that improve the quality of programs in the FBD language and reduce the cost of operating the ATS are revealed. It is pointed out that there is a need to improve the software of domestic controllers, first of all, algorithm libraries.
